This product is made with neoprene rubber, which has a light-to-moderate scent in newly manufactured items. This material has an off-gassing period ranging from a few days to over a week depending on temperature and climate. To aid with this, we recommend allowing the mat to lie flat in an area with good ventilation. Lying them outside in the sun for a few hours can also help, too!
